Daniel Kellmereit (CEO, Detecon Inc.)
Daniel Kellmereit has a wealth of experience in the areas of innovation management, marketing, corporate development and growth strategies. He has spent more than a decade enabling large global companies to develop business strategies, innovate and shape markets, adopt emerging technologies, design strategic alliances and launch new products and services. He also guides early-stage companies during their efforts to build compelling products, grow their business and raise capital. In his current position as CEO of Detecon Inc., he is responsible for the North America and Latin America region and leads the Strategy & Innovation group. Prior to this role, Daniel led the San Francisco office of Detecon and the Strategy & Innovation group in the US. He works with clients in the telecom, Internet, hardware, software and services industries as well as investors. Prior to joining Detecon, Daniel was co-founder and CTO of a “software as a service” company, building complex software products for the supply chain industry. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Bernt C. Klein (Senior Vice President, Industries and Services)
Bernt C. Klein has nearly two decades of international experience in the Telecommunications, Information Technology, Consumer Electronics, Healthcare and Automotive industries. With extensive operational background in a variety of functional areas – including roles in General Management, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Product Life Cycle Management and Supply Chain Management – he has accumulated a diverse range of experiential-based knowledge. He is heading the company’s Industries and Services group for North America and Latin America, which is focused on ICT convergence and connectivity across industry sectors that include Telecommunications, IT, High Tech, Media & Online, Mobility, Healthcare, Energy, and Financial Services. Prior to joining Detecon, Bernt held several senior-level executive positions at SIEMENS and BOSCH in North America, Latin America and Europe. During his tenure at both these companies, he successfully led international expansions into established and emerging markets with state-of-the-art technologies and innovations. Notably, his teams launched several first-to-market products in Mobile Communications on a global basis. Bernt has an MBA from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ludwigshafen University in Germany. He has served on the board of directors for Bosch Siemens Household Appliances in the United States and Siemens Kameda Information Technology in Japan.
Lars Bodenheimer (Vice President, Technology & Network Engineering)
Lars Bodenheimer has more than a dozen years of highly specialized global experience in the telecommunications industry. During his diverse career, he has been closely involved in various broadband network and multimedia delivery platform deployments in Europe and telecom innovation research projects in Silicon Valley. Additionally, his expertise ranges from hands-on engineering to strategy consulting in small to large-scale IT and telecommunication oriented projects. He brings a wide and deep understanding of the telecommunications industry as well as project management in the Americas and worldwide. He is currently heading the Technology Engineering group at Detecon, where he is consulting with telecom service providers and government institutions to develop robust and competitive voice, IP-enabled and media-oriented communication architectures and services. Prior to this, he was head of the Next Generation Networks group at the company. He is a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany.
